BWSC appoints new Chairman of the Board and new Board Member

BWSC A/S today announced that Michael Hedegaard Lyng, previously Member of its Board, has been appointed as the new BWSC A/S Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the company. Effective 30 June, Michael succeeds Torkil Boel Bentzen, who passed away recently after serving as Chairman for more than 40 years.

Michael has been a member of BWSC’s Board for 11 years and is an experienced CEO and CFO with extensive experience across a range of sectors, most notably in the manufacturing industry. Michael has more than 18 years of experience from Board positions in stock listed companies and continues to also serve as Board member and as an international business advisor and investor.

BWSC is also pleased to announce the re-appointment of Thomas S Knudsen to its Board of Directors. Thomas was member of the BWSC Board of Directors from 2019-2021 and serves as member of the Supervisory Board of the Danish Maritime Fund and other Boards in the industry.

Thomas Knudsen is an experienced profile in the marine, energy and industrial sectors with extensive leadership experience in driving industry change.

Thomas fills a vacancy on the Board created by the appointment of Michael Hedegaard Lyng as Chairman of the Board.
