Reporting to the BWSC Whistleblower Line
At BWSC, trustworthiness, credibility and integrity form the core of our culture and how we aspire to do business. These values guide how we interact and conduct business with all our associates. The BWSC Business Code of Conduct lays out our corporate commitments and individual responsibilities relating to good governance, ethical behaviour, and social responsibility.
We recognise that sometimes we may fail to live up to our commitments and expectations, or individuals may violate internal policies and standards. In these cases, we actively encourage speaking out against suspected or proven misconduct and adverse impact. In most cases, we hope it is possible via a trusted point of contact, manager or colleague. However, we have also established a Whistleblower Line to facilitate safe and anonymous reporting.
Our Whistleblower Line is open to all BWSC employees, external stakeholders or other impacted third parties and is available in 219 locations worldwide. Depending on which location you are calling from there is a possibility to use a telephone line (number will be provided once location is selected). If your location is not supported by a telephone line, there will be an option to submit a web only report.
Where to Report
If you suspect any misconduct and would like to register your concerns, please report this here.
Through our Whistleblower Line, you can report any suspected misconduct or breaches to the principles outlined throughout our Business Code of Conduct. We will ensure that any reports made will be taken seriously, will be responded to in a timely manner and that individuals who make such reports will protected from retaliation.
If you submit a report, please provide as much information as you can. It is possible to upload files, copies of documents, etc. When you submit the report, you receive a unique Report Key and choose a password. With this information, you can return to the Whistleblower Line again and access the report to add more detail or answer questions posed by the whistleblower administrator (see below). We strongly suggest that you return to the site regularly to participate in an “anonymous dialogue” with the whistleblower administrator.
Other Information
If you have any further questions, please see our FAQ here.
If your question is not answered by this FAQ, please contact compliance@bwsc.dk
Reports can be made with or without anonymity, but for us to properly follow up on a report, it is essential that we can contact the reporting person to obtain further details or information.
Finally, should you have a concern, that you cannot raise via your management, the People & Compliance Department or the Whistleblower Line, there is a final option in Denmark, where you can launch the complaint via the external whistleblower channel with the Danish Data Protection Agency, which you can find here here.
