Meet us at the DSE fair

Meet us at the DSE fair

BWSC participates in the DSE Fair in Lyngby, where engineering students meet companies from across the industry. Students within mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electrical energy technology can explore internship opportunities and gain insight into how theoretical knowledge is applied in real power plant and energy projects.

At the BWSC stand, visitors can meet engineers, current interns from DTU and representatives from People. They share perspectives on career paths, technical challenges and what characterises an internship at BWSC.

The DSE Fair hosts more than 140 engineering companies each year, and BWSC is ready to present opportunities for students who want responsibility, learning and hands‑on project experience from day one.

Meet BWSC at the Open House at Teknika

Meet BWSC at the Open House at Teknika

BWSC participates in the biannual Open House event at Teknika – the Copenhagen School of Marine Engineering and Technology Management. The event provides marine engineering students with insight into the industry and the types of projects they may encounter in their future careers.

At the BWSC stand, visitors meet former and current interns, representatives from People and, when possible, one of our experienced marine engineers. They provide perspectives on daily work at BWSC, career development and the technical tasks involved in our projects.

BWSC offers bachelor project internships to marine engineering students, and several employees have begun their careers through this route. The Open House event is an opportunity to explore how an internship at BWSC can contribute to professional growth and real-world engineering experience.

A global workplace

Today, BWSC employs more than 700 people across several continents. Our global team helps to drive improvements across the organisation, whether through developing new skills, exposure to new ideas or improving performance through collaboration with colleagues from different backgrounds.

Since 1990 when ownership passed to the Japanese multidiscipline engineering company Mitsui E&S, BWSC has looked to broaden its portfolio to impressive results. Today, our boiler service unit maintains a strong market position within Denmark, Sweden and the UK.

Furthermore, our core engine plant service unit market is located in the Caribbean and Africa, where we support reliable power delivery to societies through our three power plant operations.

At BWSC, our key asset is our experienced, devoted and skilled employees. For us, the opportunity to utilise our employees’ local knowledge and technical expertise is a significant strength in delivering for a market’s specific needs.

When you join the BWSC team, we offer a global workplace with fantastic travel opportunities and the chance to belong to something bigger.

Being a part of BWSC

We believe that actual achieved results are the real criteria for what generates a successful company. Credibility, diligence and meeting challenges with dedication are key factors in our success and have been embedded in our culture over the years.

Likewise, BWSC’s role as a project-based, international contractor requires that our organisation remains dynamic and agile.

Work in a matrix organisation

Work in a matrix organisation

BWSC project work features knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments.

A BWSC project is a dynamic work environment. The reason? No two projects are the same, and every project is a meeting point of multiple stakeholders such as subcontractors, clients and utility companies.

To handle this, BWSC has evolved into a matrix organization. Information is shared between departments and collaboration takes place across the organisation, rather than in a traditional, top-down hierarchy. This allows us to be flexible and to deliver tailor-made solutions to our customers.

We are looking for candidates who can navigate and thrive in this environment. It might appear overwhelming at first, but if you seek professional challenges and possess top-notch technical skills, we are sure you will fit right in at BWSC.
